The goal in purchasing is to provide the most
cost effective and efficient government procurement system for the
management, acquisition and control of supplies, services, and
construction for public purposes.
All annual bids are awarded during the month of June for the new budget
year with begins in July.
Annually bided items include the following:
Boots, chemicals, concrete, fire extinguisher services, fire uniforms,
janitorial supplies, mosquito spray, oil/lube, patchwork/paving, police
shoes, police uniforms, printing, round up, and t-shirts.
Formal bids are items/services that will reach or exceed the cost of
$5,000.

Warehouse
The Warehouse stocks all janitorial, hardware, office and water/sewer construction materials. Warehousing has the advantage of lower pricing and one central area to pick up materials. There materials are distributed as needed when each department brings in a requisition.

Donna is responsible for keeping City Hall clean and processing all City mail.
