The mission of the Waycross Fire Department is the protection of lives and property through fire prevention, public education and the mitigation of emergencies and disasters, whether natural or man made. The department shall strive to cost effectively achieve these aims through a program of continuous professional development based upon careful planning, research and evaluation of the needs of this community.
