SWAMPFEST
If you’re someone that likes to have a great time, then this is the event for you! Come out to the Eight Annual Swampfest on April 6 and 7 of 2012. There will be free outdoor concerts, street dancing, arts and crafts, food vendors, a BMX bike show and much more! The Swinging Medallions will be performing Saturday night and this will be an event you won’t want to miss! TEA PARTY
The annual Mother Daughter Tea party is an opportunity for mothers and daughters to spend quality time together in celebration of Mothers Day in May! Last year, we had over 100 attendees all dressed in their Sunday best complete with white gloves, big hats and sundresses. This event is held at the Lott Hitch building and includes a fashion show, finger foods, great door prizes, music, pictures and games! Tickets are only $8.00 a piece and will go on sale the first of April!
PUMPKINFEST
Pumpkin Fest will be held on Thursday, October 27th from 5:00pm until 7:00pm. There will be arts and crafts, games, face painting, a costume contest and a pumpkin carving contest. Prizes up to $100 will be awarded for the best carved pumpkin of the day. Come and enjoy great food and fellowship in downtown Waycross!
ANNUAL CHRISTMAS PARADE
This year, the Christmas Parade will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2011 and will begin at 6:30pm. Applications are now available simply by clicking the link in the left column. The theme for the 2011 parade will be “Light the Night”. We hope to see you there!
