Congratulations to Club Gymnastics Booster Club winning first place in the float category. Placing second and third were  Southside Baptist and Ware County FFA, respectively.

Congratulations to Waycross Ware Waycross Fire Safety Team winning first place in the vehicle category. Taking second place was Homerville Fire Department with third place going to  The Lighthouse.

Membership Campaign

Waycross Main Street is conducting its annual membership drive. Join us to help us on our mission. A nominating committee will be selected by the Board and a slate of officers elected. The election is scheduled to occur the during the first quarter of 2012. For a membership brochure follow the link under Resources at the left.

Read Me Again Books is locally owned and operated by Judy Kurrach of Waycross. They are located at 506 Elizabeth Street in Downtown Waycross. Their business hours are Tuesday- Friday 10:00am-5:30pm and Saturday 10:00am- 2:00pm. Read Me Again Books will trade any book and give you a credit of 20% off the publisher’s price. When you choose to buy after your trade you will purchase at ½ price cash and ½ price credit. Judy also accepts donations of gently used books. You will find a peaceful outdoor reading area located right outside their backdoor and a quite upstairs loft.  Don’t forget Ellianos Coffee Company now open inside the bookstore for your convenience.                           

Main Street Shopper

If you would like your businesses sales and promotions to be listed on the Main Street Shopper and promoted through our Facebook page just follow these steps! This is an excellent way to advertise for FREE! All it takes is a few short minutes of your time once a week; you can’t afford not to participate in this offer!

1. Send us your sales for the upcoming week no later than 2:00 P.M. the Thursday before. The new sales will be rolled out the following Friday. Make sure that you’re formatting and verbiage look like you want them to appear on the web when you send your file. Send the file (preferable a word document) as an attachment.
2. You may add printable coupons to your ad choosing to update your coupons every week or however you so choose.
3. Just send your ad to mainstreet@waycrossga.com every Friday and we’ll take care of the rest!

The promotion will go up on the website every Friday for the following week’s sale and starts over every Friday with new sales for the upcoming week.
