Commissioner William Simmons was born on November 3, 1949 and is the son of the late William F. Simmons and Blondell Simmons. He is the brother to 5 siblings.
In addition to his community service,
Commissioner William Simmons serves as pastor of Light of the
World Ministries, which was established in 2006.
Commissioner William Simmons is proud to be a product of the
Waycross Public School System attending Hazzard Hill
Elementary and Center High School. He pursued a higher
education and graduated from South Georgia College in Douglas,
Georgia.
His hobby is computing.
